Rounding out the Addams clan (possibly), Shereen Hickman as Grandma was just EVERYTHING. Comedy gold!

-BroadwayWorld

Our favorite character of the night was Grandma played by Shereen Hickman. She was clearly channeling Carol Kane who played Grandmama in "Addams Family Values." My niece-in-law Tara bent over and whispered, "She's you," early in the show. Later she whispered, "She's definitely your soul sister." I laughed. She was certainly playing a part after my heart.

As Grandma, former Cirque du Soleil lead clown Shereen Hickman expertly delivers a stream of well-timed, tongue-in-cheek bawdiness. She’s almost like a variety TV act as she works through a series of props and cracks jokes about leaky adult diapers.

A special comic treat is Shereen Hickman, who is best known as a creator and lead clown with the famous Cirque du Soleil. Hickman is wonderfully funny, playing an unfiltered, slightly bawdy Grandma, making the most of her spotlight, and showing off her well-honed comedy chops. She does a featured scene that is a bit of a showstopper when Pugsley comes to her for some advice.

And then there’s Grandma, played by Shereen Hickman, who turns every scene into a wild card. She volunteers at the retirement center—but not for the reasons you might expect. Hickman’s sharp timing and sly humor make Grandma feel both unpredictable and oddly grounded.

Shereen Hickman as Grandma Addams is a comedic treasure. She sprinkles the evening with perfectly-timed one-liners, mischievous adlibs, and cheeky winks to the audience, walking the line between character and co-conspirator with expert balance.
